Argentines doing what they do best, protest everything! This was some of the Indigenous people's protest of the bicentenary program...or so I think. That's another thing. It's never clear exactly what the people are protesting. Oh well...

My first...blog as an official adult!

Greetings to all. It's been a while, but I was on blogging hiatus. But, but again, thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in HIS name! I've been kept once again through another couple of weeks, I've had the blessing of seeing 21 of which I am so thankful to God, despite how much I can't handle the idea of getting old (ugh!!!), I've got a beautiful family that loves and supports me, and once again I have witnessed my semesterly miracle! God's good!

There aren't many pictures for this blog considering I haven't taken pictures in quite some time. But, be ready for a lot of pics next week as I will be going to Iberá Marshes this week for mid-semester break. YEA BOI!!! Break!

The time here is flying by like its nobody's business. I am already more than halfway through my stay here. However, experiences are still as rich today as when I first arrived. Updates...The internship is pretty cool. It's been great getting to meet a lot of new people and share and learn. Some of the people that come in have very limited true interactions with people, that is conversations, embraces, and the likes of which we take for granted at times. Yesterday I witnessed a man eat an entire loaf of bread while talking to me. I not sure what type, but it has definitely left an impression on me.

But, aside from the internship, midterms were great. I'm still working on a take home midterm, which is at least 5x worst than having it in class. I can't stand the idea of an exam haunting me during my break. But, its all good.

Well I'm off to pack and get ready for this afternoon. We pull out of here at 6. Til next time beautiful people. And thanks for all of the birthday wishes. It made my birthday a lot better to read birthday wishes from all of you all even though I was away for one of my biggest B-Day yet.

Oh, and that pick with the cart...an old homeless man and a little boy were trying to move their cart full of stuff across railroad tracks, but the wheels kept getting stuck. Neither of them were able to get the cart across, so I lent a hand, and of course Alibe, being the opportunist photographer she is, snapped a few pics. ;)

Til next time all ;)

  2. Wussup Soldier!
I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday. I'm sure it was interesting officially transitioning into manhood away from home and having midterms looming over your head but I was confident that you would handle the situation from the position of strength and success. You are like me, you've known you were a man since you were five, LOL, and have lived like it too. Your age has just confirmed it. Congratulations on a superb job on the mid-term exams. Yeah, I was always more nervous about take home exams but that is what fuels you to do your best because you know that if you are given time and all of the resources available to you then the exam must be done with excellence. That was a challenge for me because I had a wife, two children, and a full time job that I spent more than 8 hours a day on. Now that's a challenge but you know God helped me through it and He was my only help! So always know, greater is He that is within you.......and knock that take home out!

Wow, the man ate a whole loaf of bread in front of you! It probably was one of those hard, un-sliced loaves too huh? Well life has a way of teaching us a lot of lessons that are custom fitted for our needs. I'm sure that that was a lesson for you because it stood out enough for you to make mention of it. I'm glad to see that the internship giving you valuable, out of classroom lessons that will help shape your outlook on life and be more well rounded as a leader. Never look down on a man unless you are picking him up.

Enjoy your trip and the rest of your break.
Tell your photographer that she is great! Her work should be in magazines at least!

Finally, continue to have safe, intelligent interactions with the women, stay focussed on the mission. Continue to use discretion. There is plenty of time for.....when you have completed the mission. Be careful of the beautiful face, sexy body and the smile. Some of those fine faces have a gift that keeps on giving. When things get Hard,LOL, run a marathon, go to the gym and work out all day, then run some more. LOL! Things should be back to normal then. Wait a minute, I'm cracking myself up! OMG!!! ROTF LMAO I mean, LMBO!! Yeah son you've been over there long enough for the encouragement from your father. Now that was funny! Next time it'll be off line but it just started flowing and I could not help it. Son I told you that the titles that we have as men are not nouns but Verbs. That's why God made us strong and gave us stamina that comes with the verb lifestyle. The only verbs that you need now are student and athlete. Keep learnin and keep running. LOL

Finally, for the second time, what God has for you, he will not withhold and there is no greater match maker than God!

  6. I am glad you are enjoying yourself and getting a wealth of exposure. Your dad knows exactly what to say and knows how to keep a person laughing, but he is speaking the truth, RUN as fast as you can and enjoy the stories such as the man eating the bread. Congrats on your midterm. Keep up the good work. And when you come home I will have your eggs and breakfast. I enjoyed your pictures, nice.

Oh yeah, Shade' said Happy Belated Birthday, OLD MAN!!!!

Enjoy and be safe. Aunt Angie & Uncle Paul

  7. Hey Kevin Jr. you're 21 yrs now so I guess K.J. is out right lol. I'm tell you i'm loving ur blogs and i'm glad 2 hear from you cause i've been looking & looking for more of your blogs, but then I realized you had mid-terms and you needed to focus, I knew you would do good because of your intelligence.

    Your daddy's advice is the best, it's so good to hear the advice he gives you because it's man to man and i know you understand what he's telling you and it's given out of love for you whew that advice about the women is very valuable and his remedy for you is hillarious but i'm sure it works cause he's not telling you nothing he hasn't had to do himself, you're bless to have such a good daddy "Praise God" Love you :}
